No Red Bull Air Race for Perth?

So it looks like the wonderful men (and women) in their flying machines won’t be returning to the landing strip on Langley Park.

I’ve had the opportunity to see the Air Race three times now, once in Abu Dhabi and twice in Perth, and every time it was a well attended and action packed day, and free too.  I guess that’s where the problem lies, free events cost someone somewhere some money and Tourism WA have decided it’s not worth the dollar in Perth.

Let’s hope they find something just as exciting to replace it…
