StartUp Podcast
StartUp by Gimlet Media

StartUp is another This American Life offshoot but this time indirectly.  Alex Blumberg is the host of StartUp and was a former TAL presenter.  This podcast details the journey of him starting up his own podcasting business, Gimlet Media.  It’s a very open and seemingly very honest insight into someone on a business journey and finding themselves in very unfamiliar territory. In Our Time with Melvyn Bragg

In Our Time
In Our Time with Melvyn Bragg

A quality BBC Radio 4 programme.  Hosted by the, quite clearly well researched, former presenter of The South Bank Show Melvyn Bragg this is a 45 minute show where Bragg interviews a panel of three experts on a given topic.  These range from historical events and people, myths and legends, science and literature.  Bragg drives the conversation forwards to ensure the subject matter is covered as much as possible in the time allowed. Recent shows have added podcast extras where the panel cover some further material before tea arrives.
